"It has saved my life and changed my life in so many ways."

"To me, St. Pius X and the FOCUS missionaries have made such an important impact on me. After transferring to Pitt my sophomore year, I knew the two priorities I had were to find good friendships and reconnect with God. With that, I found St. Pius X and FOCUS, which have shown me new friendships that will last a lifetime, given me full access to the chapel, and provided opportunities to grow in faith, while also pushing me to help others grow in their faith. I am thankful God placed me where I needed to be and helped me open my eyes and heart to new people and opportunities."

"I would definitely not be pursuing the seminary or the priesthood if it weren't for St. Pius X and the people I have met here and the friendships I have made. Just by being here God has really shown me his heart. Not just in time spent in our beautiful chapel, but also He has shown me a piece of His heart through the hearts of others."

"The St. Pius X Catholic student center is, quite frankly, one of the most important things in my life. As a transfer student, I have been at Pittsburg State and St. Pius X for just over a year. I stepped in the chapel doors for my first Mass on campus and never left. I have witnessed tremendous growth in my personal prayer life, increased knowledge of faith, and a renewed fervor for living a life abundantly with Christ. I have experienced authentic friendships with other students seeking a deeper relationship with Christ. As more students enter our doors each day searching for a community and a sense of belonging, they embrace that deep relationship with others and Christ through weekly activities, the celebration of the Mass, our fall Cor ad Cor retreat, or the SEEK Conference. God guided me to Pittsburg State, not only to show me what a life united with Christ is, but to encourage others in the football locker room, the classroom, and campus."
