"I wouldn’t trade my four years at SPX for the world. The maturing of my faith, the friendships I made, the priceless memories I have - the SPX student center was truly “a home away from home”. It was a great balance between social activities like, “Yell Like Hell” and homecoming floats. The spiritual activities like retreats and great theological discussions in the lounge deepened my relationship with fellow students. One of the wisest priests I’ve had the pleasure to know, Fr. Bob McElwee, enhanced formation with me and others to form our faith into what it is today. My advice to current students is Carpe Diem! You remember how fast your high school years went by and your college years will be in your rearview mirror before you know it. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is not real, don’t miss opportunities TODAY at this wonderful place I knew as the Newman Center and you know as the St. Pius X Center! Fellow alumni, I hope you share these same fond memories at St. Pius X. I encourage you to continue to pray and support these students and the mission of our Catholic student center." ~ Leo, '87
